The 90’s were a time of ridiculous slang, great music, raunchy politics, sports legends, legendary fashion, “must-see-TV”, film masterpieces, the books, the breakups, the hook ups, and the fads (!). But there’s still one thing we need to mention, the women of the 90’s. The leading ladies in films and TV shows. The women who left their stamp on all the trends that have died out since. Their mark on the fashion world as we know it now is something that we still can’t ever forget. We rounded up the iconic 90’s women who still hold a place in our hearts and definitely in our closets, take a look at what they’re up to now.

The English actress and model was 29 when she was offered her first modeling job for Estée Lauder. In 1997 she received her first, and only, acting award for her performance in the brilliantly funny Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Currently she stars in the hit drama series “The Royals,” playing the role of Queen Helena.

Hurley is also very active in Estée Lauder’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. The company even created a new color in honor of both breast cancer and Elizabeth’s dedication, “Elizabeth Pink.”

Alicia Silverstone

Alicia actually made her film debut in The Crush, earning the 1994 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance. Not long after, she became a huge teen idol when she starred in three Aerosmith music videos, her fashion in these videos inspired women all over the globe to emulate, scrunchies were the coolest thing (that’s one fad we’re glad is gone now).

Then of course, she starred in the hit film Clueless and Batman & Robin. Moreover she is also a huge animal rights and environmental activist, along with a vegan.
