This thing was introduced in London during the 1880s but only came into fashion forty years after that. How horrifying is that?

The photo shows him at the age of 23 in 1901, so he still had more than two decades before he became the head of the Politburo. He extended the borders of his country, took Russia to the nuclear and industrial age, and defeated fascism. Sadly, he also killed hundreds of thousands of his people by going after enemies and collectivizing farming.
