The group carefully moved the sleeping beast into a sizable transport cage. They moved as carefully as possible, making sure the critter was comfortable and securely fastened. The floor of the cage was covered with soft blankets that offered warmth and comfort. Ranger Cole kept an eye on everything to make sure the animal wasn’t agitated or stressed. The caravan set off toward the specialized facility. The automobile that was transporting the animal drove carefully and steadily through the twisting forest roads. The creature lay motionless inside, breathing steadily and evenly. The other members of the crew trailed after in silence, each absorbed in their own reflections on the strange happenings of the day and the creature at its center.
