A Strange Animal
In an attempt to avoid frightening the animal, Ranger Cole stood motionless. He had never seen an animal like that before and was curious to see what it might be. After working at the national park for a number of years, he believed he had seen every species that called it home, but he was obviously mistaken. Ranger Cole gasped in surprise as more of the animal came up out of the water.

Its arms and legs were lengthy and its fur was damp. When Ranger Cole recognized what the animal might be, he let out a startled “Oh my gosh.” He waited until the beast showed its face, just to make sure. The animal turned its head slowly. When Ranger Cole saw the animal’s long claws, his heart began to race in his chest. Is it potentially harmful?
