As the crew combed through the evidence, the probe grew more intense. Every bit of data, including historical park records and environmental samples collected close to the riverbed, was carefully examined. Additional information was obtained through interviews with park employees and local neighbors. With each piece of evidence serving as a potential key to solving the mystery, the objective was to create a timeline and a potential route that led to the creature’s unexpected presence.

Tracing Leads
In close collaboration with law enforcement, Ranger Cole concentrated on leads that suggested illicit wildlife activity. Recent allegations of strange activity in and around the park were reviewed. From questioning well-known wildlife traffickers to looking into illicit trade channels, every lead was pursued tenaciously. Cole’s determination to preserve the park and its people kept him going despite the labor being tiresome and frequently irritating.
