Daryl felt lightheaded while driving. He asked the police for water, expecting him to refuse, but he was surprised when the officer handed him a bottle without hesitation. Daryl drank half the bottle in one sitting before realizing it had a weird flavor. Before he could ask, he became weary and eventually passed out.

Waking up
Daryl awoke in someone’s front yard, drenched from sweat and free of handcuffs. He didn’t know where he was, where his car was, and, most crucially, where the police officer was. He hastily rose to his feet and attempted to flee, but fell down. Bystanders noticed his struggle and hurried over to help. It was obvious that he had been drugged, but any suggestion to call the cops was dismissed.
