Without any puppies to consume her milk, the pit bull had plenty of food to provide her adopted kitten. The rescue workers still had no idea how long the kitten and the pit bull had been together. The amazing thing was that the two animals met when they needed one another. The bond between the two was astonishing. Dr. Rick Hamlin, the veterinarian, was also surprised at the unusual pair. In over 28 years of working with animals, he said that he had never come across something like it.
