Despite her frantic pace, the vets were not backing down. “Hold on, Lola, we need to check this again,” said the vet, clutching the machine. Zac observed the vet was concentrated, his eyes glued to the screen. Lola let out a low rumble, making it clear she wasn’t happy about it.
