A lot of animal centers and rescue shelters end up with far too much on their plates. The reality is that they are almost always underfunded, which means that they could not handle all the animals that they want to save. When Chris and Mariesa headed to Pibbles & More Animal Rescue, they immediately noticed that there was an overwhelming amount of pit bulls in there. What gives? They were shocked to find that this was what it was like. After all, the two of them knew just how friendly these dogs were. On that day, one of those dogs would end up changing their lives.

Quite a lot of people have a negative view of pit bulls. This is only a result of misunderstandings. Dogs from this breed are known to have big heads and muscly bodies. This does not mean that they are dangerous, but it is still illegal to own them in many states. It is why there were so many of them there.
